YT183 Adakah 3issa ibn Maryam (Isa) Jujur?
'مَوْجٌ' (Ucapan Bermuka Dua)
dalam Ucapan Isa dalam Al-Quran
Al-Baqarah 2:246
اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَي الْمَلَاِ مِنْۢ بَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ
Tidakkah kamu terfikir tentang peristiwa pada masa hadapan apabila orang-orang Bani Israel dibanjiri
Have you not pondered ( اَلَمْ تَرَ ) about events in the future ( اِلَي - the end destination) when those awash of Bani Israel (الْمَلَاِ this is a new translation for الْمَلَاِ other than as “the notables” - the ones closest to the upper authority in the Torah system those الصِدّيق who are filled with مَلَاِ the knowledge that they hold dear it doesn't mean they’re correct - their “cup” being مَلَاِ filled already full so cannot take in any more new knowledge any new هداية Divine guidance ما (liquid) so بَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ have been “awashed” - this word ما started to be applied to a boat that is so full with water that any kind of wave comes over it runs and overflows that boat - so “awash” means “its so full of”). This word ما fits the word مَوْج (waves) . So الْمَلَاِ are those awashed of or with الْمَلَاِ
“They are awashed of Bani Israel” - what does it mean? Notice ما so their cup is filled with israeliy-yat knowledge imported or plagiarized or copied (hook-line-sinker) from Hebrew or biblical type of knowledge. So the Quran is telling Muhammad think about the future events when such a group of people “awashed of” israeliy-yat “after Musa” - “after another Musa will leave it alone” because there are “multiple Musas in the Quran.
Allah is giving some advanced knowledge to our beloved SAW
مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مُوْسٰي ۘ
After (another) Mussa,
(“after another Musa will leave it alone” because there are “multiple Musas in the Quran)
اِذْ قَالُوْا لِنَبِيٍّ لَّهُمُ
When they (these group of people who are awashed) said to a prophet for them
ابْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكًا نُّقَاتِلْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ؕ
“Raise for us a king, and we will go to battle (for him) in the pathway of Allah”?
does not mean "to physical fighting" it means more "to go to battle" - نُّقَاتِلْ
This scene is so clearly not talking about Muhammad SAW physical fighting during his time but after the time of SAW
“We will go to battle for that مَلِكًا “that King” in their understanding
In our understanding is totally different
“In the pathway of Allah”
قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ
He said “would you hope to abstain from going to battle
اِنْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ اَلَّا تُقَاتِلُوْا ؕ
If going to battle was delegated upon you
“Meaning you are part of those who are required
قَالُوْا وَمَا لَنَاۤ اَلَّا نُقَاتِلَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَقَدْ اُخْرِجْنَا مِنْ دِيَارِنَا وَاَبْنَآئِنَا ؕ
They said why would we not go to battle in the pathway of Allah after having been expelled from our abodes of understanding and from being among our children (meaning after the end of our physical life)
فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْا اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْهُمْ ؕ
But then when going to battle was actually delegated to them, they turned away تَوَلَّوْا , except for a few of them
وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِالظّٰلِمِيْنَ
And Allah exposed the evidence-based knowledge despite the transgressors
Al-Baqarah 2:247
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوْتَ مَلِكًا ؕ
And their prophet said to the: “Indeed, Allah has revivified for you ‘Talut’ (the one with the last/prolonged duration) as knowledgeable about ‘الملك’ (governance)”
الملك refers to governance as a set of rules that define, rule over or control how the whole universe works, All of the set of rules. The Encyclopedia, Manual of operating standards and operating procedures for the whole universe , including us as creatures having نَفْس and أَنْفُس and what happens to us during this life what happens to us during the afterlife how we relate to other creatures and other أَنْفُس and نُفُوس all of these details all of these models of how things function is called governance.
قَالُوْۤا اَنّٰي يَكُوْنُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ اَحَقُّ بِالْمُلْكِ مِنْهُ
They said: “How can he have knowledge about ‘الملك’ (governance) over us (i.e. over our situation) while we are more deserving of knowledge about ‘الملك’ (governance) than him,”
وَلَمْ يُؤْتَ سَعَةً مِّنَ الْمَالِ ؕ
dominance of influence = مَالِ
“And he has not been allowed to learn in abundance from dominance (of influence)?”
قَالَ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰىهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَزَادَهٗ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَالْجِسْمِ ؕ
He has put the effort try to purify himself get rid of all erroneous understanding and therefore Allah selected him for purification purposes = اصْطَفٰىهُ
The word اصْطَفٰىهُ applies not just to Adam not just the prophets but also to Maryam and also to other human beings that are described in the Quran. اصْطَفٰىهُ It's not a unique word is not something done at birth as they taught us in the tradition. No. Prophets and Messengers are not selected at birth; they're not selected by lineage of their pure blood. Not at all. This ayat proves it اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰىهُ عَلَيْكُمْ come upon you or over you
بَسْطَةً = to increase in abundance , but the word ب س ط it also imply dominance in strength type of way. So ب س ط is a very nuance term used in this ayat that says its not just an abundance but more power, more conviction more strength in the presentation
He said: “Indeed, Allah has selected to purify him over you and has increased him in abundance in the way of knowledge and stature”
وَالْجِسْمِ = Stature means the ability to convey charisma, the ability to ensure that certain concepts or messages are truly delivered properly to be convincing to the audience.
وَاللّٰهُ يُؤْتِيْ مُلْكَهٗ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ
"And Allah allows to learn about His ‘الملك’ (governance) whoever wills (to learn it), And Allah is provider of abundance, exposer of evidence-based knowledge”
مَنْ يَّشَآءُ = the letter مَنْ Is exclusively referring to the person receiving such knowledge so if that person receive such knowledge he is يَّشَآءُ He Wills such knowledge to be received by that person so its not an arbitrary random choice made by Allah SWT , He open up doors for him to learn وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ Allah is the provider of abundance. So don't claim abundance to you over this طَالُوْتَ and violate the prime directive in the Quran that Allah is the source of abundance exposure of evidence-based knowledge.
Al-Baqarah 2:248
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ اِنَّ اٰيَةَ مُلْكِهٖۤ اَنْ يَّاْتِيَكُمُ
And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of His (knowledge of) 'الملك' (governance) is that the clear cessation (of erroneous understanding and practices; i.e. the proper understanding of the Quran) will reach you,
"اٰيَةَ مُلْكِهٖۤ" = 'ayat' is a sign -(remember, when Zakariya asked for a sign, its a sign for something that had yet to occur regarding Maryam in that case so a sign is about something in the future in this case 'اٰيَةَ مُلْكِهٖۤ ' - a sign of His knowledge of the governance 'الملك' the whole universal set of rules the policies and procedures that govern the whole universe) is that the clear cessation تَّابُوْتُ that's what the word تَبَّ means which is 'to cease' or 'to cut' (Al-Masad 111:1 'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab and perish he' تَبَّتْ يَدَاۤ اَبِيْ لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّ ؕ - to cut; to stop; to arrest the practices the behaviour or the erroneous understanding and practices of Abu Lahab) . So the proper understanding of the Quran will cause cessation of the prior erroneous understanding and practices Allah SWT is referring to that as التَّابُوْتُ because it's something in the future and it's something related to this prophet who's talking to his followers and telling them there will be a sign and He will bring you a cessation التَّابُوْتُ (definitely not what they say as 'tali sabut yang terpintal' !!). So this clear cessation will يَّاْتِيَكُمُ will reach you (not جَاءَكُمْ not directly necessarily but you will get to hear about it) and I can assure you right now, there are lots of people who are listening.
التَّابُوْتُ فِيْهِ سَكِيْنَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ
(and) in it is a (reassuring) tranquility from your Lord
If you are seeking tranquillity you’re going to find it مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ tranquility from your Lord and this is is a vouching from Allah SWT that this سَكِيْنَةٌ that some people feel comes directly from Allah SWT and you know it.
What else is in this تَّابُوْتُ ? Remaining traces of the followers of Musa (remember اٰلُ does not mean “family” dont believe those who tell you اٰلُ means family. Same thing as Al-Fir'aun ( اٰلُ فرعون ) it refers to all the followers not just the few members of the فرعون family. The original Truth the ٱلْحَقُّ from Allah SWT to Musa a.s. The First scripture, and the followers of Harun (who brought a lot of مَوْجٌ in some of his speech .
In this تَّابُوْتُ (which is the Quran during Muhamad SAW’ time and us today - or Taurat the first scripture during Musa’s time ) the proper understanding allows you to distinguish between the followers of Musa the original ٱلْحَقُّ supporters’ adherence accepted and what some of the مَوْجٌ that Harun brought later on ( TaHa 20:93 - 95 ) (Al-A'raf 7:150 -151)
Such clash and disagreement between Musa and Harun had led to a split between their followers when the Truth adhered to or accepted or understood by the original followers of Musa and the original followers of Harun who took a different path. By the way among Bani Israel and the Jews today there are clearly two different paths today (history, sociology, theology) .
وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ اٰلُ - مُوْسٰي وَاٰلُ هٰرُوْنَ
And (in it are) remaining traces of what the followers of Musa (i.e. the Truth) and the followers of Harun (i.e. the مَوْجٌ ) had left
تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ ؕ
The burdens of which are to be carried (i.e. enforced) by the Angels
The rules ‘الملك’ in this التَّابُوْتُ for those who understand the الملك from the Quran for the proper understanding of the Quran, are enforced by or carried out by the الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ ؕ
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ
Indeed, in that there shall be a sign for you, if you are believers (at that time)
Whose لَّكُمْ in this case ? He already told the first group (of group of people “awashed of” israiliyyat “after another Musa”) that you are going to see a sign of His الملك’ .Here is a direct اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ instruction from Allah SWT (not from the prophet) to ask readers of the Quran “that in the Quran there shall be a sign for you”. There “shall be” because this لَاٰ in لَاٰيَةً in Arabic refers to something future confirming that these ayat are describing events in the future relative to Muhammad’s SAW life.
